Department of Physics is a newly established Department. It is housed in three buildings.

The Department of Physics has three Physics Laboratories well equipped with some classical and modern equipment.

Ø Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) ( NICOLET IS50)
Ø Weather Station Data Logger
Ø Falling Ball Viscometer
Ø Hall Effect Apparatus for Semiconductors
Ø Ultrasonic Bath
Ø Hot Plate with Magnetic Stirrer
Extensive computing facilities with high speed Internet facilities will also be available to the students.
